Community Spelling Bee Buzzes Back Into New Hope-Solebury
The Spelling Bee caps off the library's "Buzzathon," a weeklong celebration filled with entertaining programming and fundraising activities.

NEW HOPE, PA — The Community Spelling Bee, an exciting fundraiser benefiting The Free Library of New Hope & Solebury, returns to New Hope-Solebury High School’s Buck Theater on Friday, Sept. 27, at 7 p.m.
Hosted by the library’s board of trustees, this spell-binding event is free to attend. In lieu of tickets, attendees are invited to donate to their favorite teams by giving to their “honey pot” at the entrance to the theater.
The competition features 20 teams of three each, competing in groups of four by rounds. The winning team from each “swarm” advances to a final showdown that determines the top spellers in town.
