Construction Work To Impact 2 Solebury Township Highways

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through or near the work areas because backups and delays will occur.

SOLEBURY TOWNSHIP, PA — Construction work is scheduled to begin this week on two roads in Solebury Township.

Beginning on Monday, Nov. 27 PECO Energy will be performing utility construction on Route 263 (Upper York Road).

Work is scheduled between River Road and Circle View Drive from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Friday through Dec. 22. Motorists can expect weekday lane closures with flagging.

PECO Energy will complete the project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.

In addition, a two-day road closure is scheduled on Tuesday, Nov. 28 and Wednesday, Nov. 29 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a pipe replacement project on Aquetong Road between Carversville and Mechanicsville roads.

During the closure, motorists are directed to use Mechanicsville Road, Route 413 (Durham Road), and Carversville Road.
