Crews Respond To Thursday Fire At Cafe Galleria

A grease fire broke out Thursday at Cafe Galleria, the Lambertville Fire Department said.

LAMBERTVILLE, PA — A grease fire broke out Thursday at Cafe Galleria, the Lambertville Fire Department reported.

According to information from the local fire department, firefighters were dispatched just before 1 p.m. because the alarm system was activated. While the kitchen's fire suppression system had knocked the fire down, further inspection found a fire in the hood.

The fire was extinguished by the crew of Tower17 with minor damage, officials said.

"In the last week in our county and Bucks 3alarm activation have turned out to be actual fires. Smoke detectors and alarm systems save lives and property," the fire department said.
