The Cub Room Signs 5 Year Lease With New Hope Lodge Partners
The LGBTQ+ destination will soon be expanding its footprint with the addition of a new greenhouse-style dining room and restroom facilities.

NEW HOPE BOROUGH, PA — The Cub Room in New Hope, the community's only LBGTQ+ full-service bar and restaurant, has signed a five year lease with the new owners of the New Hope Lodge.
"I am thrilled to have secured a five-year lease that ensures The Cub Room will continue to serve New Hope and the surrounding region for years to come," said owner Laura Sachs. "This is not only an opportunity to preserve an important tradition, but also a responsibility that I take very seriously. For me, The Cub Room is more than a restaurant and bar - it's a community gathering place and a safe haven where people can be themselves."
Sachs continued, "I remain deeply commited to serving the entire New Hope community while continuing to support and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community thathas helped make this area so special I look forward to building on that legacy and creating an even more welcoming experience for future generations."

New Hope Lodge Partners, which also owns the Anna and Bel boutique motel in Philadelphia's Fishtown neighborhood, recently purchased the New Hope Lodge and have begun major renovations, with plans to incorporate the same quiet elegance, warm Earth tones and full redesigned and upgrade as part of the transformation.
The Cub Room will remain open throughout the renovations.

According to Sachs, the Cub Room will soon be expanding its footprint with the addition of a new greenhouse-style dining room and additional restroom facilities.
A new kitchen will be relocated adjacent to the current bar area, allowing the chef and culinary team to deliver an enhanced dining experience with greater efficiency and expanded menu offerings.
"These improvements are designed to elevate both the comfort of guests and the overall quality of service while preserving the welcoming atmosphere that has made The Cub Room a favorite destination in the New Hope area," said Sachs.
Over the past four years, the Cub Room has evolved from a small neighborhood bar into a full-service restaurant and cocktail destination. Today, guests enjoy specialty cocktails, a popular happy hour, and a variety of entertainment options, including piano bar evenings, live musicians, and monthly tea dances held at the outdoor bar.
