Daytime Lane Closures On Rt. 32 Start Monday
Daytime lane closures are scheduled on Rt 32 for work on the $1.5 million Solebury Rt. 202 Gateway Trail, PennDOT announced.

Weekday daytime lane closures are scheduled on Route 32 between Lower York Road and Chapel Road in Solebury Township starting Monday, April 3 and going through early November.
The lane closures will be in place from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and are needed for work to Solebury Township’s $1.5 million project to create the Solebury Route 202 Gateway Trail.
According to PennDOT, the Solebury Route 202 Gateway Trail will provide a 10-foot-wide, shared-use trail for pedestrians and bicyclists.

"This new section makes several safety improvements along Route 32 (River Road), including a dedicated left turn lane at the Route 202 intersection, curb ramps and crosswalks, and extensive signage," PennDOT said in an announcement.
Work is expected to be completed by November 2017.
From Monday, April 3, through Friday, April 7, the left lane in each direction will be closed for concrete median removal and asphalt replacement. Then beginning April 7, the right lane in each direction will be closed and remain so for the duration of the project.
