DEP To Conduct Survey Along Primrose Creek In Solebury

The study is aimed at ensuring residences downstream from the quarry are not negatively impacted by proposed reclamation activities.

SOLEBURY TOWNSHIP, PA — Residents living in Solebury Township may see groups of surveyors from late June to early July along the Primrose Creek from the New Hope Crushed Stone quarry to the Delaware River.

A survey will be performed between July 26 and July 7 by Michael Baker International, which has been hired by the Department of Environmental Protection to conduct the survey.

The areas on the map colored light blue and dark purple represent the approximate area that will be surveyed, which includes personnel traveling and or walking the area.

The survey is required by Solebury Township as part of a Hydrologic and Hydraulic study of the Primrose Creek to ensure residences downstream of the quarry are not negatively impacted by proposed reclamation activities at the quarry.
