Deputy DA To Discuss Fraud-Related Cases At Free Program In Solebury

Criminals have found new and creative ways to take advantage of unsuspecting citizens, he said.

SOLEBURY TOWNSHIP, PA — Bucks County Deputy District Attorney Marc J. Furber will speak about the growing number of fraud-related cases in the county during a free community program on March 1 at Thompson Memorial Presbyterian Church, 1680 Aquetong Road, New Hope.

The program begins at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 1. Coffee and pastries will be offered.

Furber will speak about the growing number of fraud-related issues facing Bucks County residents, including Home Improvement Fraud.

Criminals have found new and creative ways to take advantage of unsuspecting citizens, he said. With each passing year, law enforcement has had to contend with criminals that have become increasingly sophisticated in their use of technology, he said.

Furber will give examples of crimes that have been perpetrated here in Bucks County and suggest ways for members of the public to protect themselves from being victimized.
