Do You Have Awesome Pics Of New Hope? Enter Them In Visit Bucks County's Contest

To get your creative juices flowing, join local historian Roy Ziegler for a free photo walk event around New Hope this Sunday. Details:

NEW HOPE, PA — Grab your camera, because a free Photo Walk event will be held this Sunday in New Hope. The Visit Bucks County event will be held Oct. 22 from 4 to 6:30 p.m. and features a two-mile tour through town with fellow photography enthusiasts.

The tour will be guided by Roy Ziegler, an author, historian and former president of the New Hope Historical Society. All skill levels are invited.

If you're interested in attending, head to the entrance to the Union Square shopping center on West Bridge Street, where you can grab a map of the route. (The first 100 people to arrive will receive a free Bucks County water bottle .)

But you don't have to attend the tour to enter your best photos of New Hope into the contest.

To submit your photos of New Hope, simply post them to your public Instagram profile using these hashtags #VBCPhotoWalk2017, #NewHopePA and #BucksCounty in the caption or comments by Saturday, October 28th at 11:59 p.m. Winners will receive a new FujiFilm Instax Mini 8 camera and one roll of film.

Prizes will be awarded for the following categories:

1. ‘Best Photo of a Landscape/Sunset’
2. ‘Best Photo of People’
3. ‘Best Photo of Architecture’
4. ‘Best Photo of Animals’
4. ‘Photo That Screams Bucks County’

Winners will be determined by a panel of professional photographers and announced via Facebook on Monday, November 6, according to the event page.
