Domestic Disturbances, Thefts Reported In New Hope Borough
Borough Police reported the following incidents between March 4 and 10.
NEW HOPE BOROUGH, PA — The New Hope Borough Police Department reported the following incidents between March 4 and 10:
March 4
- Theft reported on the 200 block of South Main Street. A customer left a bar without paying.

- A theft was reported on West Mechanic Street involving the removal of a planting pot.
- Fraud investigation initiated after a victim reported their bank account was compromised.
- Officers responded alongside the fire department to a tree and downed wires causing a brush fire on River Road. The road was closed temporarily while firefighters extinguished the brush fire and PECO replaced the damaged wires.
March 7
- Officers responded to two separate domestic disturbances, one on West Bridge Street and another on South Main Street.
March 8

- Police investigated a civil disturbance on Lakeview Drive.
March 9
- Officers responded to Runnemede Court for a report of a suspicious vehicle.
- While conducting routine foot patrols and business checks, officers discovered an open door at a business on South Main Street. The building was checked and secured.
- Officers located another suspicious vehicle on West Mechanic Street.
- Police responded to a traffic accident on North Main Street. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
March 10
- Officers responded to a civil dispute in Union Square.
