Early-Morning Car Theft Reported In New Hope

The unfortunate trend of stolen cars in New Hope continues.

Police report another car was stolen from a local driveway early this morning, Tuesday, July 24. According to New Hope Borough Police, a silver 2015 Kia Forte was stolen from a Kiltie Drive driveway between 4:30 and 6:30 a.m.

The car has PA registration JGB3234, and there is a "Springer Mom" sticker on the rear window and a "Restore the Jersey Shore" sticker (in the shape of NJ) on the back trunk lid.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious or knows the whereabouts of the car should contact the New Hope Police Department at 215-862-3033 or 215-348-7400 and reference IR#20180724M0005.

It is at least the third theft of a car in New Hope Borough this month. A black 2008 Toyota Highlander was stolen from a driveway along the 300 block of Riverwoods Drive on July 15. And prior to that, a 2017 Nissan Rouge was taken from a driveway on N. Main Street.
