Ferry Market Hosting New Year Celebration With Free Samples
The Jan. 24 event at the Ferry Market will include free samples and live music.

The Ferry Market will be hosting the "New Year, New Business Celebration" on Wednesday, Jan. 24, from 5 to 8 p.m. During the event, there will be music by the Zeke Sky Band, vendor samplings and more, according to organizers. The market is located at 32 South Main Street in New Hope.
"Designed to be a contemporary market like Chelsea Market in New York, customers can stop in, grab something quick – eat in or take out. Breakfast is offered by many of the vendors which is rare for New Hope. In addition, there are foods not readily found in the New Hope restaurants and shops like gluten-free desserts at The Happy Mixer, Peruvian food at Lima Fusion and rice or noodle bowls at Boku," according to an event announcement.
“It is so heartwarming to see how the community has welcomed the Market. The vendors are so pleased with the reception they’ve gotten, and I love hearing everyone talk about their favorite vendors comparing which foods are the most interesting," co-owner Sherri Daugherty said.
