Fireworks Planned Friday Night In New Hope, Lambertville

Fireworks are scheduled this Friday, Aug. 3 along the Delaware River in New Hope and Lambertville.

The show will be the fourth of the summer. Previous displays were held in June and July. A fourth and final show is scheduled for Sept. 7.

The show is about 10 minutes long and starts at 9:30 p.m.

Visitors are encouraged to come to town early and shop and dine before the fireworks.

"Make a reservation at one of Lambertville or New Hope’s wonderful dining establishments. Grab a glass of wine, beer or an artisan cocktail. Enjoy one of the many al fresco dining or drinking experiences. Or grab some ice cream and a spot by the river. There’s something for everyone," organizers said on the Facebook event page.

Friday's weather could present an issue, however. The National Weather Service is calling for showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain.
