ROXEY BALLET AND THE LAMBERTVILLE HISTORICAL SOCIETY PARTNER WITH HOLIDAY MUSIC AND DANCE

LAMBERTVILLE, NJ (2021) – The Roxey Ballet and the Lambertville Historical Society are teaming up to present “A Very Lambertville Holiday Celebration”. This first-ever artistic collaboration between the two Lambertville non-profits will feature curated selections from a decade’s worth of local holiday music, previously featured on the historical society’s annual CD. Professionally choreographed dance by The Roxey Ballet will bring this well-loved tradition to life, the story of our river town and the holiday season.

The joyful holiday event will be presented live at the Music Mountain Theater (1483 NJ-179, Lambertville) on Wednesday, December 22 at 7 p.m.

The Roxey Ballet Company’s Black Box Theater at Canal Studios on N. Union Street was destroyed during Hurricane Ida. Music Mountain Theater graciously presented a venue for the ballet and the opportunity to move this evening of holiday music and dance to their facility.

Make it part of your holiday repertoire. Proceeds will benefit The Roxey Ballet restoration and the Lambertville Historical Society.

“The Nutcracker” is a perfect way to begin the holiday season with two performances at the Villa Victoria Theatre (376 W Upper Ferry Rd, Ewing, NJ) on Saturday, November 27 and Sunday, November 28, 2021, at 3 p.m. and two Sensory Friendly performances at the New Hope Eagle Fire Hall, 46 N. Sugan Rd, New Hope, Pa., on Saturday, December 4 at 4 p.m., and Sunday, December 5 at 1 p.m.   These performances provide the perfect introduction to ballet for children of all ages, and a timeless tradition for adults.
