New Hope Friday Night Fireworks Update

Organizers behind New Hope's Friday night fireworks show — scheduled for tonight, July 6 — say they are monitoring the forecast and will provide an update if the weather causes a disruption in the schedule.

"It appears that the sky will clear for this evening's show," organizers announced via Facebook.

Tonight's fireworks, set to kick off at 9:30 p.m. along the Delaware River, will also feature a special FAA-approved laser light show.

According to the forecast from the National Weather Service, there is a chance of scattered showers this afternoon, but tonight looks to be mostly clear.
