Lambertville Shad Fest 2018: What You Need To Know

It's almost Shad Fest! Here's what you need to know about the 2018 event:

It's almost time for Shad Fest. The annual Lambertville festival will be held this weekend, April 28 and 29.

The two-day event will feature a variety of fun, including vendors, food, art, music, entertainment and more.

There is no fee for admission. The rain or shine event has something for everyone.

Here's what you can expect:

  • More than 200 original works of art will be on display in the recreation room of the First Presbyterian Church, 31 N. Union St. An auction will be held Sunday at 3 pm, and the funds raised will go to scholarships. Click here for a preview of auction items.
  • Art by local children will be on display at the Justice Center, 25 S. Union Street.
  • Live music kicks off Friday night at 5 p.m. at the North Union Street parking lot. In addition to the local bands, expect food from Nomad Pizza and Owowcow ice cream. Live music starts again on Saturday at noon and goes until 5 p.m. On Sunday, music starts at 1 p.m. Click here for the full lineup.
  • The food court will serve up a variety of options, including shad chowder, hot dogs, fried oreos, hamburgers, taco salad and much more. Plus, there will be an additional food and beer garden in the Lambertville Station parking area.
  • For the kids, there will be face painting, sand art, and other children’s activities.
