Little Red Riding Hood Opens Friday at Music Mountain Theatre

Riley Kay Bultemeier of New Hope leads the cast of Little Red Riding Hood

Skip on over to Music Mountain Theatre and join Little Red Riding Hood on her journey to Granny’s house. Along the way, she meets some famous fairy tale characters all while trying to escape the Big Bad Wolf! Who will help Little Red? The Three Little Pigs? The Three Blind Mice? Goldilocks and the Three Bears? Or does the Big Bad Wolf have some other tricks up his sleeve? Find out as you journey along with Little Red at MMT!

Starring as Little Red is Riley Kay Bultemeier. Riley is an active member of the junior company at Music Mountain Theatre and has been seen in as Zaneeta in The Music Man, Martha Cratchit in A Christmas Carol, and in numerous children’s theatre productions. Her favorite role with the company was Mayzie La Bird in Seussical the Musical, Junior. Riley is a rising sophomore at New Hope Solebury High School and is a role model to many young performers at the theatre.

The theatre will offer ASL interpreted performances of Little Red Riding Hood on September 1.

Music Mountain Theatre is a 250-seat theatre located adjacent to the historic site of the Lambertville Music Circus. The theatre provides a full year of both mainstage and children’s theatre. Currently playing on the mainstage is Godspell (August 24-September 2).

Little Red Riding Hood opens August 24 and runs through September 1 with performances on Fridays and Saturdays at 11am and 1pm. Tickets are $8 and are available online at www.musicmountaintheatre.org or by phone at 609-397-3337.
