Lambertville Mayor Andrew Nowick said the loss of the Legion affects more than its members.
“The American Legion in Lambertville has been deeply dedicated to supporting our local Veterans and the community at large for decades," he said. "In addition to welcoming Veterans, they organize the annual Memorial Day Parade and Commemoration at Mary Sheridan Park, generously offer their hall to community events, serve as a polling station, and more.”
