Multiple Vehicles Disabled In Heavy Snow On Route 202: Solebury Police

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Motorists should expect extended delays on Route 202 between New Jersey and Buckingham Township, advise the Solebury Township Police.

Police are reporting multiple vehicles have been disabled in the heavy Tuesday morning snow.

Other Solebury roads impacted by the storm include: Short Road at Fleecydale Road - wires down - and Creamery Road between Route 263 and Meetinghouse Road - tree down.

In New Britain Township, police report the closure of North Limekiln Pike (PA-152) between Township Line Road and Upper Stump Road. Police report a stuck tractor trailer and a fallen utility pole.

"Avoid the area, find an alternate route, or, stay off the roads until they are cleared," said police.

In Doylestown Township, police report that North Shady Retreat Road is closed between Burpee Road and Iron Hill Road due to a downed tree with wires.

Law enforcement officials throughout Bucks County are urging motorists to avoid unnecessary travel today. The roads are reported snow covered with plow crews inundated with calls to help in areas with multiple disabled, stuck and crashed vehicles.

Some roads have also been blocked by downed trees due to the weight of the heavy snow, police said.

A Winter Storm Warning continues in Bucks County through 3 p.m. Tuesday for heavy snow with total snow accumulations of between 4 and 8 inches.
