New Hope Borough: Firm Wins Bid For Porous Pave Project

Hugh A. Marshall Landscape Contractors will be replacing sidewalk trees and the surrounding paving this year. The New Hope firm was the successful bidder for the Borough’s Porous Pave Project, which will have 13 locations installed with the porous pave material along with many trees being replaced.

The Porous Pave Project is part of the Borough’s commitment to better stormwater management. By replacing traditional pavement materials with permeable hardscaping, we help the ground absorb more rainwater and reduce runoff, which contributes to localized flooding and other environmental harm.
