New Hope Helping Hosts Annual Steve Buck | Hardy Bush Golf Outing

NEW HOPE, PA — New Hope Helping hosted its annual Steve Buck | Hardy Bush Golf Outing on Friday, June 23 at the Makefield Highlands Golf Club in Yardley.

More than 125 golfers came out for a day of golf, a chicken BBQ, and the chance to win the honor of wearing the Purple Jacket, all in the name of raising funds for New Hope Helping’s scholarship program. This year’s recipient of a $5,000 scholarship was Reagan Chrencik.

The success of the event would not be possible without the many sponsors, including C.A. Niece Co., Inc.; Bill McCafferty, PT, and New Hope Physical Therapy; Edger H. Denson Post 79 of the American Legion; Rockwood Wealth Management, LLC; Peter Augenblick; Fran's Pub; Mayor Larry Keller; Bob Blazer; Rich and Cheryl Cvetan; Speed Raceway; Tony McCracken and Fortress Financial Services; ASI; Dotty and Bob Carr - Solebury Township Tax Collector; McCaffrey's Market; Tri-Plex Group, LLC; Rice's Market; Louise Williamson of Keller Williams Real Estate; and Andrew Seabrook and Opti-4.

“We named this event for Steve Buck and Hardy Bush, two individuals who lived in service to our community, and it takes a whole community of people to make it happen,” said Ken Isler, event committee member. “We are grateful to everyone involved with this golf outing, from sponsors to volunteers, to participants.”

The team of volunteers included: Bob Blazer, Cheryl Cvetan, Fred and Louise Williamson, Dave Hansel, Beth Hasher, Steve Williams, and Kay McBride.
