New Hope To Host 2019 Northeast Regional Pride Conference
The conference will take place from March 7-10, 2019.

NEW HOPE, PA — New Hope has been selected as the host city for the 2019 Northeast Regional Pride (NERP) conference, representatives from New Hope Celebrates announced this week.
The conference will take place from March 7-10, 2019.
New Hope Celebrates will coordinate the NERP Conference, which will bring as many as 200 Pride organizers and activists to New Hope. The program itself will combine educational and organizing sessions with an opportunity for participants to sample New Hope’s attractions, according to an announcement from New Hope Celebrates.

Tyler Evertsen, co-Regional Director for NERP, said, “we are excited to bring the 2019 meeting to an area so many of us love to visit, one with such rich history in our movement.”
NHC President Matt Hanson said New Hope’s restaurants and bars, art galleries, shops, spas and salons and visitor attractions such as wine tours and Washington Crossing State Park will serve as specific points of focus. A Planning Committee will be formed to prepare a formal schedule of events.

This will be the second NERP Conference in New Hope, following a successful event in 2013. In recent years, NERP meetings have been held in Washington D.C. and Staten Island, NY. The 2020 conference is planned for Charlotte, NC.
