NEW HOPE BOROUGH, PA — Pumpkins and mums may be a sure sign of autumn, but the New Hope Borough Park and Recreation Board believes it's time for scarecrows to have their day in the sun.

Beginning October 5, the public will find 10 scarecrows posing around town made by the members of Girl Scout Troop No. 21724 under the direction of Scout Leader Lori Subotowski. See if you can find all of them.

The Park and Recreation board invites all shopkeepers, business owners and residents to join in the fun. "Use your imagination and be creative. It's not a contest. It's just a simple way to showcase New Hope's autumn spirit," said park and recreation board members.
