New Hope-Solebury Community Association Awards Grant
Grant Awarded to Music Mountain Theatre in Thanks for Volunteering with The New Hope Automobile Show
The New Hope-Solebury Community Association recently awarded a $700.00 grant to Music Mountain Theatre, a Lambertville, New Jersey-based non-profit theater whose purpose is to enrich, educate, and entertain our community through the study, performance, and appreciation of the arts. The funds will be used to expand Music Mountain Theatre's theater arts education programs for autistic students.
“We are thrilled that these funds will allow us to extend the value of our student theatre arts programming to special needs children,” said Ginny Brennan, president of the Music Mountain Theater board of directors.
The relationship between the New Hope-Solebury Community Association and Music Mountain Theatre stems from the theater's provision of volunteers to the annual New Hope Automobile Show.
"We're fortunate to have collaborative relationships with organizations who share our mission of improving our communities and providing our residents with enhanced opportunities," said Carl Glassman, vice president of the New Hope-Solebury Community Association. "We had sixteen people lend us a hand in volunteering at the 2018 New Hope Automobile Show."
Planning for the 2019 New Hope Automobile Show -- which returns to its format as a two-day show, taking place August 10 and 11, 2019 on the New Hope-Solebury High School grounds -- is now underway. Sponsorship and volunteer opportunities are available. All proceeds raised by the all-volunteer non- profit New Hope-Solebury Community Association activities benefit cancer research, local student scholarships, and local community organizations.
