New Hope-Solebury Community Association Honored

The New Hope-Solebury Community Association was recently honored by the New Hope-Solebury School District in recognition for their 70 years of service to the community.

“The New Hope-Solebury Community Association was founded 70 years ago out of a desire to meet the pressing need of the time, a new gym for the high school,” said Carl Glassman, New Hope-Solebury Community Association vice president.

That first project led to the eventual creation of The New Hope Automobile Show in 1957. Proceeds from the show, and adjacent activities such as the annual Road Rally, continue to support the school and the area at large, with proceeds benefitting high school seniors in the form of scholarships as well as area non-profits who provide volunteers for the show.
