New Hope Teen Left Scene Of DUI Crash: Police
The 19-year-old hit a utility pole, causing damage to that and other utilities, then left the scene around 4:50 a.m. Saturday, police said.

NEW HOPE, PA-- A 19-year-old New Hope resident was arrested early Saturday morning after Upper Makefield police said he was left the scene of a DUI crash. Chase D. Darcangelo, 19, has been charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and related offenses in connection with the crash, which was reported at around 4:50 a.m.
According to police, Darcangelo was driving on Taylorsville Road north of Woodhill Road when he struck a PECO utility pole, causing severe damage to the pole, as well as electric and cable lines.
Darcangelo fled the scene of the accident and was located a short time later at his home, police said.

All charges were filed with District Court in Newtown.
