New Hope's Mojito Cuba Caribe ​Expanding In Bucks County

The owners of Mojito Cuba Caribe ​in New Hope will open a new Mexican restaurant in Doylestown this Friday.

The owners of Mojito Cuba Caribe in New Hope are expanding in Bucks County. The Diaz-Albertini family, who owns the S. Main Street restaurant, will open Casa Toro Mexican Grill in Doylestown this Friday. The restaurant will be located at the Baileys Square Shopping Center on Swamp Road.

"This newest location features Mexican and Cuban cuisine with some fusion inspiration. Traditional or artisan cocktails, craft beers, and exceptional wines are all available at the moderately priced, casual and friendly establishment," according to an announcement on the restaurant's website.

The menu includes various soups, appetizers and salads, Cuban favorites as well as Mexican classics like tacos, fajitas and tamales. There is also an extensive margarita menu, which features the $25 Gran Platinum Patron margarita.

The family, who came to America from Cuba in 1959, say they have kept their cultural heritage alive in the kitchen. They also operate Casa Toro Mexican Grill in Coopersburg.

“I wanted to combine robust Latin flavors with the comfort and approachability you’d find at a gastro-pub,” said Chef Dean Diaz-Albertini. “Latin food is like family: bold, substantial… impossible not to love.”
