New Stop Signs Installed At New Hope Borough Intersection
The new signage creates a four-way stop, requiring motorists to stop in all directions before continuing through the intersection.
NEW HOPE, PA — The New Hope Borough Police Department is advising motorists that new stop signs have been installed at Sugan and Old York Roads.
Police said the addition of the signs turns the intersection into a four-way stop. Motorists traveling on Sugan Road and Old York Road are now required to come to a complete stop before proceeding through the intersection.
"Please use extra caution in the area as motorists become accustomed to the new traffic pattern. Always stop completely and proceed only when it is safe to do so," police said.
