No Mail Delivery Wednesday For National Day Of Mourning

There will be no mail delivery Wednesday, Dec. 5 for the National Day of Mourning for George H.W. Bush. See what else is closed:

Wednesday, Dec. 5 is a National Day of Mourning in honor of former President George H.W. Bush, who died Nov. 30.

The Postal Service will be observing the National Day of Mourning, and as a result, there will be no mail delivery. According to the Post Office, all locations will be closed. There will be limited package delivery.

Mail delivery will resume Thursday.

Additionally, all federal offices are closed, the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq will be closed. Some banks and courts could also be closed.

The U.S. House of Representatives has cancelled all votes for the week, and the Senate has postponed votes to after the funeral.
