"Out Of This World Auction" Raises $110K For Solebury School
Proceeds from the auction will support Solebury's educational programs, student activities, and activities funded by the Home and School.

NEW HOPE, PA — Solebury School raised more than $110,000, including $53,000 for a special appeal, during its "Out of This World Auction" on Saturday, April 27 at The Fuge in Warminster.
Proceeds from the auction will support Solebury’s educational programs, student activities, and activities funded by the Home and School Association.
“In managing the auction, I've witnessed the entire Solebury community come together, including parents, supporters, faculty, and staff, in a way that embodies what Solebury School is all about,” shared Lisa Juris, parent relations manager and auction coordinator. “It is satisfying to know the impact the funds raised will have on helping ensure the success of our community. We are grateful for the event sponsorship from The Fuge and everyone who played a part in making the evening ‘out of this world.’”

Auction guests were treated to an outer space experience that included live entertainment by Solebury School’s Elite Ensemble, formal dining, and bidding on an array of unique auction items. VIP guests had an exclusive tour of the centrifuge’s control room. The Out of This World Auction could not have been held at a more fitting place. The Fuge, known for housing the largest centrifuge ever built, was once a training center for Buzz Aldrin, Neil Armstrong, and other early American astronauts.

“The Solebury auction is different from other fundraisers because it is not just about raising money, but celebrating community,” said Leanne White P’24 ’26, Home and School Association President. “It's a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow parents, teachers, and friends, all while supporting the school that is helping in ways large and small to shape our children.”
The auction fundraiser was vital to raising funds for the school’s growing student enrollment and expanding educational programs. Funding from event sponsorships and auction proceeds will also support ongoing campus improvements. This year’s Special Appeal was earmarked to purchase a
scorer’s table, professional sports equipment, and updated branding for the Athletic Center.
“Solebury School has been such a wonderful experience for our son,” shared Erin Saltzman P’25, this year’s auction co-chair. “As parents, we feel completely embraced by the Solebury community. It has given me joy to give back to Solebury by working on this auction. It was a night to come together, celebrate, and contribute to the present and future of Solebury School.”
The continued success of Solebury School is in part due to annual auction fundraisers. These events have always been unique ways to unite the community for a great cause.
