Phillips' Mill Players Reveal "The Best Vacation Ever!"
Comedy cabaret opens May 15 on the historic Mill stage in Solebury Township.

NEW HOPE, PA — "The Mill’s Guide to the Best Vacation EVER!," this spring’s musical comedy cabaret production at Phillips’ Mill Community Association, endorses Silver Sneakers Cruises, the Love Boat, and Savannah ghost tours.
V.A.C.A. destinations like Kokomo, San Francisco, Paris, Havana, Chicago, New York and more will transport the audience to exotic locales with sidesplitting merriment.
The annual spring musical presented by the Phillips’ Mill Players will once again provide hilarity and entertainment in a cabaret setting at the historic Mill. Thanks to generous donors, new lighting and sound systems have been installed and will be used for the first time for this show. Bring your own favorite libation and snacks to enjoy while new and familiar cast members entertain in this rollicking new show.

Eighteen local actors and five local musicians comprise the cast and band. The Phillips’ Mill Players are Michael Weisser, Tim Wade, Cecily Laidman, Nancy Vander Zwan, Betty Benton, Valerie Eastburn, Tim Philpot, Leslie Crilley, Rita Roley, John Roley, Fran Young, Pamela Manly, Helene Mathern, Fran Ferrone, Laura Scotti, Kevin Nalty, and Patrick Fowles. The Mill band members are Barry Middleberg, Mike Dettra, Mike Seifried, and Lon Freeman.
Director Fran Young joins choreographer Betty Benton, producer Valerie Eastburn and music coordinator Barry Middleburg to bring this show to the stage. Come and meet Ship Captain Stubing, Luscious Laura, Naughty Nancy, Spectacular Cecilia, and a Norwegian Blue. With so many wonderful and funny characters, this show is a must see!

Long time Phillips’ Mill Player and drummer, the late Joe Phillips, will be honored with a rousing rendition of Kokomo including audience participation. For as long as can be remembered, laughter has brought people together.
The Mill’s Guide to the Best Vacation EVER!: May 15-18, show begins at 7:30 PM on the historic Mill stage. Doors open at 7 pm. (Tradition finds audience members arriving early to “dine” on their BYO before the curtain goes up.) Tickets: $28.50 - $32.50.
