​Photographs Sought For 31st Phillips' Mill Juried Exhibition

The renowned photo exhibition has garnered a wide following with fine art photographers from across the country, as well as internationally,

NEW HOPE, PA — Calling all fine art photographers! Mill Photo is inviting photographers to take part in the 31st Juried Phillips’ Mill Photographic Exhibition to be presented at the historic Mill from March 31 through April 19 .

The prestigious show continues a celebrated tradition of showcasing fine-art photography from the local region and beyond. The organization encourages the submission of “a body of work in any photographic medium, from historic to digital, that best represents your creative expression.”

The theme, as it’s been since the show’s inception in 1991, is “Photography as art, photographer as artist.”

The renowned photo exhibition has garnered a wide following with fine art photographers from across the country, as well as internationally, entering each year.

With more than 1,200 submissions from 14 states and two countries last year, the exhibition continues to flourish attracting top jurors and exceptional artistry.

This year’s juror is Thom Goertel, a Washington, D.C.-based photographer and multimedia producer. Goertel’s award winning photography has taken him far and wide to capture images published in National Geographic, The Wall Street Journal, and The Washington Post, among others. His work has been shown in galleries across the U.S. and is part of several private collections. Thom’s recent photo work includes documentary humanitarian projects in Kenya, Uganda and central Mexico.

All submissions will be accepted online via Smarter Entry through February 29. Details and instructions for submitting are outlined in the prospectus available on the Phillips’ Mill website. Accepted works will be announced on March 11 posted on the Phillips’ Mill website. Twelve awards including Best in Show, Best Body of Work, and a People’s Choice award announced at the close of the show, will be presented.

Espousing the traditions of its founders, the Phillips’ Mill Community Association continues to provide a historic setting for artists to display their work as it celebrates its 95th anniversary in 2024.
