Photography Month Is Back At Phillips' Mill This April: See Photos

The Phillips' Mill Community Association announced two in-person photography shows in April, as Photography Month returns after two years.

NEW HOPE, PA — Photography Month returns to Bucks County after a two-year pandemic hiatus, with two in-person photography shows in April, the Phillips' Mill Community Association announced.

The Phillips' Mill Juried Photographic Exhibition opens Sunday, April 3 at the historic mill on River Road.

Juror Bob Krist, a former New Hope resident whose work has appeared in National Geographic and Smithsonian, selected 136 works for the exhibition. More than 1,100 photos were submitted from across 18 states and two countries.

"I will freely admit that I was blown away by the breadth and depth of the work," Krist said in a statement. "Whether it was nature, landscape, art, portraiture, street photography, there was just so much high-quality work it made narrowing down the prize winners a very painful, but rewarding experience."

The exhibition runs April 3-22. Winners and participants will be announced when the show opens.

Both shows are open Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 1-5 p.m., and on Fridays and Saturdays from 1-8 p.m.
