Police Make DUI Arrest, Respond To Trespassing Calls In Lambertville

City police also investigate cyber-harassment complaint, theft of merchandise from a city store, and criminal mischief to a vehicle.

LAMBERTVILLE, NJ — The City of Lambertville Police Department reported the following incidents and arrests between August 7 and Sept. 6:

August 7

  • At approximately 8 p.m., a resident from Delevan Street reported several tools taken from the residence. Detective Albani is the investigating officer.

  • At approximately 11:58 a.m., a 69-year-old man from North Main Street was charged with defiant trespassing after being advised he was not permitted on private property.
  • At approximately 6:20 p.m., a business on Church Street reported merchandise missing from inside of the store. Patrolman Zilliox is the investigating officer.
  • At approximately 11:48 p.m., a 44-year-old man from North Franklin Street in Lambertville was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, failure to maintain lane and careless driving.

August 13

  • At approximately 12:15 p.m., a 69 year old man from North Main Street in Lambertville, NJ, was charged with defiant trespassing after being advised he was not permitted on private property.
  • At approximately 5:45 p.m., a resident from Lincoln Avenue reported ongoing cyber-harassment. The incident was quickly investigated and resolved.

  • At approximately 11 a.m., a 69-year-old man from North Main Street in Lambertville, NJ was charged with defiant trespassing after being advised he was not permitted on private property.

August 17

  • At approximately 4:05 p.m., patrols responded to a business on Bridge Street for an unwanted person. The subject was located, advised not to return and left without incident.
  • At approximately 5:36 p.m., patrols responded to a residence on Church Street for someone trespassing. The subject left without incident after being advised not to return.

August 28

  • At approximately 7 p.m., a resident from North Union Street reported online fraud. The incident is under investigation.

September 1

  • At approximately 11:50 a.m., patrols responded to a residence on North Union Street for a report of someone trespassing on the property. The subject had already left the property but was quickly located and advised not to return.
  • At approximately 1:58 p.m., a resident from Clinton Street reported criminal mischief to their vehicle.

September 3

  • At approximately 12:38 p.m., patrol responded to a residence on North Union Street for ongoing trespassing.
