Vehicles of all kinds and years are welcome to participate.

New Hope Automobile Show organizers encourage people to bring their classic for that "genuine burning oil, bugs-in-the-teeth" experience, but any everyday car will be just fine.

So how does it work? You and your team follow a scenic route thru beautiful Bucks County, using your keen powers of observation along the way to find the answers to questions we pose. Sometimes they are silly questions with silly answers. Occasionally, those answers will in fact define the route, so don't get those wrong or else you'll end up in Timbuktu!

Bring sharp-eyed friends; a sharp pencil and a clipboard might be a good idea too. The route is designed so that an average team can reach the finish line in about two hours, give or take. Scoring is based solely on correct answers to the questions.

The rally will end at a local restaurant where participants are welcome to purchase lunch as the judges review the answers and determine the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. Perhaps the most coveted prize, our famous Spoons, go to last place.

The cost is $50 per car. Registration is open at

This year the show is teaming up with the Philadelphia Region of the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA). Their support for the event provides assurance that it is safe and gives show organizers the ability to continue its road rally for years to come.

A crucial part of the collaboration with the SCCA will be a requirement that all participants complete a minor consent form if you plan on having a minor ride in the vehicle. The form will need the signature of both parents, so if only one parent will be bringing a child, the form should be signed by both parents prior to coming to the event on Sunday.

Click here to download the form, fill it out, have both parents sign it, print it in color (the show cannot accept a black and white copy) and bring it with you to the Road Rally. If you don’t complete this form, your son or daughter will not be able to compete in the Road Rally.

Bring along a friend or friends who can help you answer a few silly questions as part of the scavenger hunt. Pencils and a clipboard might be a good idea, too. Scores will be based solely on correct answers to the questions.

At the end of the rally participants will be able to purchase lunch while show judges review the answers and determine the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.

The pre-show events continue on Sunday,August 7 with Summer Cars and Coffee from 8 to 11 a.m. at the New Hope-Solebury High School, 180 West Bridge Street, New Hope. The event is free.

Plan to drop by with any car you want. Show it off, have some coffee and talk with other fellow automobile enthusiasts. Show volunteers will also have some great New Hope Automobile Show swag available for sale.

While the event is free, the show is always open to donations. All money goes to various local charitable groups and organizations.

The Coffee and the Road Rally all lead up to the main event - the New Hope Automobile Show - on August 13 and 14 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the New Hope-Solebury High School, 180 West Bridge Street, New Hope.

For 65 years, some of the finest antique and classic automobiles in the country have made their way to New Hope to be judged for authenticity, originality, cleanliness, and condition.

Over the years, The New Hope Automobile Show has drawn up to 10,000 people over the two-day show, all looking to see and appreciate the design and technology of automobile manufacturers from all over the world.

Saturday will spotlight domestic vehicles. In addition to the regular domestic classes, car enthusiasts will see Rods, including Hot, Rat, Street, Restomods, and Custom. Saturday will also feature a class for Replicars, as well as a display only class for those vehicles that don’t fit into other classes.

Sunday is foreign day. All regular foreign classes will remain virtually the same as at the 2021 show. The show has also added a Tuner class and a display class on Sunday.

General admission tickets are $10 per person and children under 12 are admitted free when accompanied by an adult. Active military and their families are admitted free with ID.

Proceeds will be used by the New Hope Helping to fund local community organizations and charities. Since 1949, the show has donated more than $1.6 million to local causes and education.

On site parking is $5. There will be two pedestrian visitor entrance gates on Bridge Street for those walking in from the center of New Hope.

COVID-19 rules and regulations in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local directives, if required, will be in effect at the time of the show.

Organizers encourage visitors to “look, but don’t touch!” as they vote for their favorite car. Vehicle owners will be more than happy to answer questions. In order to reduce the chance of damage to show vehicles, parents are expected to properly supervise and control small children and strollers.

Because the show is conducted on school grounds, consumption of alcoholic beverages and the use of tobacco products in any form are strictly prohibited at all times. State and local regulations prohibit any exceptions to this policy.

Trained service animals will be permitted, and are defined as only dogs, regardless of breed, specifically trained to assist a person with a disability. Pets, emotional support, and other animals are not permitted. In addition, bicycles, skateboards, scooters, hoverboards and other similar personal transportation items are not permitted within the show grounds.
