Prep School Teacher Had Sex With Student At Solebury Park: Police

​A teacher who worked at an elite NJ prep school has been arrested after authorities say she had sex with a student at a Solebury park.

A teacher who worked at an elite New Jersey prep school has been arrested after authorities say she had sex with a student at a Solebury Township park last spring.

According to Solebury Township Police, 28-year-old Alyssia Reddy sexually assaulted a 16-year-old Pennington Prep student at a park on Route 32. The report of the assault was made to Solebury Police on Nov. 20, and an investigation was launched.

Reddy, who no longer works at Pennington Prep and now resides in Maryland, is currently employed as a teacher at another school. She was arrested Friday, Dec. 1 on a felony warrant for institutional sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor, criminal use of a communication facility and corruption of a minor.

She is currently being detained in Baltimore City, Maryland awaiting extradition to Pennsylvania, police said.

Solebury Township Police Department was assisted by the Mercer County (NJ) Prosecutor's Office (Special Victim's Unit), Bucks County District Attorney's Office (Detectives), Baltimore County Maryland Police Department (Fugitive Task Force and Crimes Against Children Unit).
