Rash Of Package Thefts In New Hope, Washington Crossing: Cops
Someone is opening packages and mail, then discarding the remains into other residents' mailboxes after cash or items are taken, police say.

UPPER MAKEFIELD, PA — Police in Upper Makefield continue to investigate a series of package thefts in Newtown, New Hope, and Washington Crossing. The thefts were reported to police between Dec. 26 and Jan. 3.
Authorities say someone is stealing packages and mail from residences and mailboxes. The items are opened, and the remains are discarded into other residents' mailboxes after cash, gift cards and merchandise is taken.
Authorities on Friday released a photo of a vehicle believed to be associated with the thefts. It is a Silver Honda Pilot driven by a white female. She is person of interest at this time but has not yet been identified, police said.
