Road Closures, Parking Restrictions In Lambertville For Upcoming Dinner Event On N. Union

​Road closures and parking restrictions are planned for this weekend's Dawn-sponsored dinner event on North Union Street in Lambertville.

Road closures and parking restrictions are planned for this weekend's town-wide dinner event, which will feature a 2,000 foot table set up on N. Union Street.

The Dawn Town Dinner event will be held Sunday, Aug. 13. Road closures will be begin Saturday, Aug. 12, according to information from the city of Lambertville.

Starting at 9 p.m. on Saturday, August 12 and going through 8 a.m. on Monday, August 14, N. Union Street from Bridge to Delaware Avenue will be closed.

Additionally, the police department is advising residents to adhere to the no parking signs that will be posted in the vicinity of the event from Friday through Monday. Vehicles that are not moved will be towed, the city announced.

  • North Union Street beginning at Bridge Street and ending at Delaware Avenue. (Note: Bridge Street will remain open; Delaware Avenue will be closed)
  • Clinton Street beginning at Delaware Avenue and ending at York Street. Coryell Street beginning at Lambert Lane and ending at North Union Street.
  • The following side streets will be closed from George Street to North Union: Jefferson Street Delevan Street York Street Coryell Street Church Street.

Dawn Town Dinner is an event that the soap brand is partnering with Lambertville to host. It will be an "enjoyable evening of conversation over a three course dinner right on scenic Union Street," according to information from the city of Lambertville.

Dawn will be picking up the tab for the dinner, and handling the cleanup. According to the company, a special celebrity guest will also be there.

Local officials are hopeful it will result in a boost in tourism due to the exposure from the event.
