Upper Makefield Fire Co. Carnival Starts April 30
Now in its 40th year, the spring carnival is a major fundraiser for the Upper Makefield Fire Company.

UPPER MAKEFIELD, PA — It's carnival season in Pennsylvania and local residents will get a chance to enjoy it starting next week.
The 40th annual Upper Makefield Fire Company Carnival runs Tuesday, April 30, through Saturday, May 4. The carnival is located at Washington Crossing State Part, on Rt. 32 just south of Rt. 532.
All your carnival favorites will be there, from food and games to kids' rides to rides for the whole family and "thrill rides" like the Gravitron, Himalaya and Zipper.

The Upper Makefield Fire Company hosted its first carnival in 1979 at the Taylorsville Road Firehouse and in an open field which is now the River Knoll development. It has since moved to the state park and continues as one of the company's main fundraising events.
