Smash-and-Grab Theft From Car At Tinicum Park: Cops

A smash and grab theft from a car was reported at Tinicum Park by the Delaware Canal Wednesday morning, according to police.

The theft happened between 10 and 11:15 a.m. Police said the window of green Toyota sedan was smashed and a purse was stolen from inside the car.

The car was parked in the back of the park by the Delaware Canal. As a result, local police are reminding residents not to leave valuables unattended in their cars.
