Solebury Hosting "Police And Community Together" Night
In lieu of National Night Out, the Solebury Township and New Hope Borough Police are teaming up for community together night.
SOLEBURY TOWNSHIP, PA — After its Night Out plans were rained out in August, the Solebury Township Police Department try again with a new date and a new name.
"Police and Community Together" night takes place on Thursday, Sept. 12 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Laurel Park (behind the Solebury Township Police Station).
The public will have a chance to meet the newly appointed chiefs of the Solebury Township and the New Hope Borough Police Departments.

New Hope Chief Kevin Edwards joined the department earlier this year after serving with the Solebury department. Solebury's Chief Kelley Warner joined the department in July.
The two chiefs will be joined by special guest, Bucks County District Attorney Jennifer Schorn.

The evening also features games, food, and information provided by comunity groups and organizations including First Student and the Bucks County Drug & Alcohol Commission.
