Solebury Police Assist In Child Pornography Investigation

An investigation by police in New Britain and Solebury townships has resulted in a 45-year-old man's arrest on child pornography charges.

An investigation by two Bucks County police departments and the FBI has resulted in a 45-year-old man's arrest on child pornography charges.

The U.S. Attorney's office announced Brian High, 45, has been indicted on charges of receipt and possession of child pornography following the investigation by New Britain Township Police, Solebury Township Police and the FBI.

The indictment alleges that High received child pornography on several occasions starting in 2013. He was also found to be in possession of child pornography in October 2016, United States Attorney Louis D. Lappen said in the indictment.

If convicted, High faces a maximum possible sentence of 80 years’ imprisonment, a mandatory minimum term of 5 years’ imprisonment, supervised release for a minimum term of five years and a lifetime maximum term, a $1,000,000 dollar fine and mandatory restitution.

The case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Katherine Driscoll.
