Stabbing Suspect Sought In Hunterdon County
Authorities in Hunterdon County are seeking Ciro Perrone, accused of nearly stabbing someone to death on New Year's Day.

Authorities in Hunterdon County are seeking a Flemington man they say nearly stabbed someone to death on New Year's Day. Ciro Perrone, 32, is wanted for an early-morning stabbing in Raritan Township.
According to authorities with the Hunterdon County Prosecutor's Office, a male victim was found with a stab wound to his shoulder at a residence around 4 a.m. He was transported to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital and listed in critical condition.
Perrone, who was identified as a suspect, left the scene before police arrived, according to Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns III. A warrant for his arrest has been issued on charges of attempted murder and aggravated assault.

Perrone remains at large and law enforcement is actively attempting to locate him, Kearns said.
