What's abuzz in New Hope and Solebury? The word on the street is that 18 adult Bee teams are preparing to swarm the stage of the New Hope-Solebury High School auditorium on Friday, October 4, at 7 p.m. for the Community Spelling Bee, a fundraiser for The Free Library of New Hope & Solebury. Teams include local local lawyers, innkeepers, bakers, New Hope Borough Council members and Solebury Township Supervisors.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students 18 and under. They can purchased online and at The Free Library in advance or at the door. "Bee" sure to get there when the doors open at 6 p.m. to take advantage of a raffle and bake sale featuring lots of goodies from local businesses.

The community can also sponsor one or more Bee teams, including the two teams representing the local police departments, the Buzz Fuzz and the Solebury Stingers, at nhslibrary.org.
