Teen Ambassador Club At Peddler's Village Looking For Recruits

As members of the club, high school students will gain experience and skills in the fashion, public relations and hospitality industry.

LAHASKA, Pa. — LSL Brands and its family of local stores is re-launching an Ambassador Club open to all high school students for the 2022-23 school year.

Through the Ambassador Club, the company will provide high school students with experience and skills in the fashion, public relations, and hospitality industry, while also infusing community service opportunities for various charities and foundations.

The company is looking for outgoing, creative, and reliable applicants with a passion for fashion, social media, retail, event planning, and community service.

The club will meet four to six hours each month through the 2022-23 school year. Ambassadors will assist in producing special events at Peddler’s Village, organize fundraisers for charities such as the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Pine 2 Pink, and participate in discussions on various topics, including the impact of social media, viral trends, influencers, and the fashion merchandising and retail industry.

Members will have the opportunity to produce and model in fashion shows, showcasing favorite brands such as Lilly Pulitzer, Patagonia, Ralph Lauren, Z-Supply, Vineyard Vines, Free People, UGG, Faherty, Life Is Good, and Southern Tide.

Through these experiences, students will have the opportunity to develop techniques in communications, hospitality, and networking.

The program is excellent for students interested in pursuing a major or concentration in fashion merchandising, marketing, communications, or public relations.

Club members will not receive financial compensation as it is volunteer-based experience. And there are no fees, charges, or financial obligations connected with participation.

Applications also are available at Fox and Holly in Peddler’s Village. They will be accepting applications through Thursday, September 15. The company also looks forward to starting a Senior Ambassador Club, with more details coming later in 2022.
