Thefts, Harassment, And Illegal Dumping: Lambertville Police Report
City police also make DUI arrest and investigate incidents of trespassing and assault.
LAMBERTVILLE, NJ - The Lambertville Police Department reported the following incidents and arrests between April 1 and April 26:
April 2
- At approximately 6:33 p.m., a man on a paddle board was reported to be stuck in the middle of the Delaware River. It was quickly determined that the individual had safely arrived on land on the New Hope side south of the free bridge and was found unharmed. Sgt. Gramlich investigated.

- At approximately 2:10 p.m., several individuals were reported trespassing on private property off of North Main Street. Ptl. Lugo is the investigating officer.
April 7
- At approximately 10:41 a.m., patrol responded to York and George Streets for illegal dumping next to city trash receptacles. Ptl. Brown is the investigating officer.
- At approximately 11:17 a.m., patrol responded to the area of South Union Street and Ferry Street for illegal dumping in a city trash receptacle. Patrolman Zilliox is the investigating officer.
April 10

- At approximately 1:48 p.m., patrol responded to the towpath off of North Union Street for a report of someone possibly trespassing on private property. Contact was made with all involved parties and the issue was quickly resolved. Patrolman Bereheiko investigated.
April 11
- A 30-year-old man from Ewing, NJ was charged with obstructing the administration of law after refusing to identify himself as a result of a motor vehicle stop the prior day. He has a mandatory court date of May 2. Patrolman Zilliox is the investigating officer.
April 12
- At approximately 9:10 p.m., patrol responded to a residence on Brunswick Avenue for a report of harassment. DCpl Bast is the investigating officer.
April 13
- At approximately 5:18 p.m., a 42-year-old from Iselin, N.J., was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and careless driving. He was released with a court date of May 02. Patrolman Brown is the arresting officer.
April 14
- At approximately 7:24 p.m., a business on North Union Street reported several pieces of merchandise stolen. Detective Albani is investigating.
April 20
- At approximately 11:23 a.m., a 71-year-old man from South Main Street in Lambertville, NJ was found to have harassed several individuals where he physically shoved one. He was later charged with harassment, failure to obey a lawful order of a law enforcement officer and peace and good order, a local ordinance. Sergeant Gramlich is the investigating officer.
- At approximately 11:39 a.m., patrols responded to the towpath for a report of a suspicious person harassing people. The subject was quickly located and further investigation revealed the subject was not doing anything wrong. Sergeant Gramlich investigated.
- At approximately 3:23 p.m., patrols responded to a business on North Union Street for unwanted individuals refusing to leave. Upon arrival, both individuals were located outside where they had left the business without incident. Both were advised not to return and left the area. Sgt Gramlich investigated.
- At approximately 9:23 p.m., patrols responded to a business on Bridge Street for an assault. Upon arrival, patrols determined a verbal argument had occurred where one party shoved the other. Detective Albani is the investigating officer.
April 21
- At approximately 2:08 p.m., patrols responded to Bridge Street in front of St Johns Church for a report of a theft of equipment off of the sidewalk that is property of the Lambertville Fire Department. Patrolman Brown is investigating.
- At approximately 5:20 p.m., patrols responded to a residence on Church Street for a report of trespassing. Sgt Memolo is the investigating officer.
- At approximately 6:48 p.m., a 24-year-old from Langhorne was found to be in possession of a city street sign. He was released and later charged peace and good order, a local ordinance. Sgt Gramlich investigated.
- At approximately 7:35 p.m., patrols responded to the area of North Union Street and Church Street for a report of graffiti. Detective Albani is the investigating officer.
April 23
- At approximately 8 p.m., patrols responded to the area of South Main Street and Mt.Hope Street for a report of harassment. Ptl. Zilliox is the investigating officer.
