Thefts From Vehicles, Stolen Wallet Under Investigation In New Hope
Police are asking for the public's help in identifying two males suspected of stealing a wallet in early January.
NEW HOPE, PA — The New Hope Borough Police Department is investigating two thefts from vehicles that occurred in the borough on January 27.
As a result of those incidents, police offer the following tips to guard against theft:
- Do not leave valuable items in your vehicle.
- Always lock your vehicle (even when it is parked in your driveway).
- Do not leave spare keys in your vehicle.
- Do not leave your vehicle running when it is unattended.
- Park in a well-lit area.
- Be cautious when returning to your vehicle.
- If you see someone lurking near your vehicle do not enter the vehicle. Call 911.
Police are also investigating the theft of a wallet that occurred on January 12 at about 12:45 p.m. at The Catwalk of New Hope located on South Main Street. Two suspects were involved in the theft of the wallet.
