Three Cited In South Main Street Fight: New Hope Police Report

Police also issue numerous citations for urination in public and charged several with underage consumption.

NEW HOPE, PA — The New Hope Police Department reported the following incidents and arrests between Nov. 18 and 23:

November 23

  • At approximately 2:52 a.m., a New Hope Borough Police Officer investigated a disturbance on South Main Street. An 18-year-old man from Yardley was found to be intoxicated and carrying a false ID. He was charged with underage consumption of alcohol & possession of a fraudulent identification.
  • At approximately 1:29 a.m., a New Hope Borough Police Officer observed an intoxicated subject urinating on the sidewalk in front of a business on South Main Street. The subject was identified as a 20-year-old female from Flemington, N.J. She was charged with underage consumption of alcohol & disorderly conduct.

  • At approximately 2:12 a.m., a New Hope Borough police officer observed a fight in progress on South Main Street. Three offenders were identified as a 50 year-old man from Philadelphia, a 43 year-old man from Philadelphia, and a 23 year-old man from Lambertville, N.J. A subject was transported to the hospital for injuries received in the fight. All offenders were charged with disorderly conduct for fighting, violent, and tumultuous behavior.
  • At approximately 1:13 a.m., a New Hope Borough police officer observed two men urinating on the patio of a South Main Street business. The subjects were identified as a 23 year-old from New Hope and a 22 year-old from Basking Ridge, N.J. Both were cited with disorderly conduct for the acts.
