A hit and run crash in Solebury on Wednesday is under investigation after police said a pickup truck sped away from the scene.

SOLEBURY, PA — A hit and run crash in Solebury on Wednesday is under investigation after police said a pickup truck sped away from the scene.

The incident occurred at around 12:40 p.m. on Route 202 near the 202 spur, authorities said.

A white pickup truck pulling an open landscaping trailer "made a very quick turn" in front of an oncoming motorcycle, police said.

The truck did not stop and drove away onto Hardy Bush Way, according to authorities.

Police described the driver as a Hispanic male between the ages of 30 and 40. The pickup truck should have damage to the bottom of the driver's side door.

The condition of the motorcycle driver was not released by police Thursday.
