Two Men Arrested For String Of Burglaries In Hopewell Township

Police said efforts will be made to positively identify any stolen property so that the items can be returned to the victims.

HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP, NJ — Two men have been charged with a string of burglaries in Hopewell Township over the past year.

Thomas Bray, 47, of Valley Road, Hopewell Township, and Daniel Aster, 43, of Upper York Road, New Hope, were taken into custody on January 23 and charged with multiple counts of burglary, theft, criminal mischief, burglary tools and criminal trespassing.

Search warrants were executed at a Valley Road address by Hopewell Township Police with assistance from the Mercer County Tactical Response Team.

The operation was conducted as part of an extensive investigation into the burglaries, which have occurred across the Hopewell Valley over the past year.
