Holiday Drive Taking Place At Union Chill In Lambertville

Food and clothing donations are being accepted through December 23 for the Bucks County Housing Group.

LAMBERTVILLE, NJ — Union Chill Cannabis Company is partnering with Delaware River Runners, a women’s running club in Bucks County, to host a holiday food and clothing drive to help brighten the holidays for local families in need.

Donations of food, clothing and supplies can be dropped off at Union Chill, located at 204 N. Union Street in Lambertville, between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Sunday, now through December 23. All donations will be delivered to individuals and families in Bucks County Housing Group (BCHG) programs. The holiday drive is seeking donations of the following items:

Food Donations

  • Shelf-stable milk or milk alternatives
  • Canned goods (soup, vegetables, fruits, tuna)
  • Holiday-themed cookies and treats
  • Cake or brownie mixes
  • Hot cocoa or hot chocolate packets
  • Coffee or tea bags
  • Canned cranberry sauce
  • Stuffing mix

Clothing Donations

  • Winter coats
  • Hats, mittens, and scarves
  • Sweaters and sweatpants
  • Warm socks

  • Holiday supplies like wrapping paper, tape, and gift bags
  • Household supplies like dish detergent, hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.
  • Gift cards to Target, Walmart, Uber, gas stations, etc.

BCHG is a Warminster-based non-profit that works to end food and housing insecurity across Bucks County and in local communities. Through its food program, which includes two pantries, two mobile market pantries and three community gardens, BCHG served more than 21,000 individuals in the last year.

BHCG provided housing to 288 people through its Supportive Housing and Rapid Rehousing Programs, with 100 percent of all Supportive Housing clients moving to more stable housing options.
